Jamison Selby joins Colloquium speaker list

Jamison Selby, Senior Producer, TimePlay Entertainment, joins Dr. Mia Consalvo as the second confirmed speaker for the gaming Colloquium to be held on July 3, 2012 in Reno, Nevada.

Selby is a game industry executive and entrepreneur with wide-ranging experience across the entertainment industry. He spent years working in television on shows ranging from Sabrina, the Teenage Witch and Oz to The Weakest Link and Entertainment Tonight. Then he jumped into the gaming world at ODVD Games with the critically acclaimed Shout About… line of trivia games. Hasbro entrusted their team to work with the high-profile titles Trivial Pursuit and The Simpsons. He joined TimePlay Entertainment as Senior Producer to create a new generation of location-based multiplayer gaming. He opened the live interactive poker show The Real Deal at The Venetian in Las Vegas and adapted Deal or No Deal! into a multiplayer game show currently running on cruise ships.

Selby serves as chair of the Los Angeles chapter of the International Game Developers Association and is the founder of Downloadable Change, a non-profit dedicated to promoting virtual fundraising partnerships between the game industry and non-profit organizations. His current ventures include launching a game industry business accelerator in Southern California and relaunching the Shout About… titles under a new banner, Shout About Games.
