One-day Colloquium draws strong Mensan interest

The Mensa Foundation is seeing strong attendance indicators for the one-day Colloquium on social and video gaming. The event is shaping up to be a strong lead-in to American Mensa's Annual Gathering in July 2012 in Reno.

Exploring new ways to bring Colloquiums to larger audiences, the Foundation announced this one-day event for Tuesday, July 3, 2012 — the day before the Annual Gathering opens. Colloquium 2012.2: "Social and Video Gaming" features a "best of" distillation of February 2011's weekend Colloquium on electronic gaming and offers what Mensans like most: the opportunity to learn about timely topics with the help of industry experts.

More than 30 Mensa members paid for their Colloquium and AG attendance during the first days of registration — although the Colloquium's Web site and other supporting program information was still in development.
